Hamburger Soup
1 lb hamburger
2 medium onions, diced
2 medium carrots, diced
2 stalks celery, diced
4 medium potatoes, diced

2 cans stewed tomatoes
1 bay leaf
1 tsp minced garlic

whole allspice (don’t eat these if they land in your bowl)
2 T chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp sugar
1 ½ qts water

1 t. Worcestershire sauce

1 can corn (add last ½ hour)

Brown the hamburger, onions, carrots and celery. Add all the remaining ingredients except the
corn. Bring to boil, then set to low and
cook for 2 ½ hours. Add the corn and
cook for an additional ½ hour.
